The tank guards have been designed to protect your expensive tank from possible scrapes and punctures.  They have also been designed to protect the fuel tap from possible rock or branch strikes by extending down and underneath the tap. Access to the tap is possible through the round hole which has been made relatively small so the guard is as strong as possible in this area. 
 
They will also fit the earlier painted 640 adventure tank.  (we havent tried them for fit on the Acerbis Rally tank yet)
 
The guards are constructed using layers of carbon fibre making them very strong and include woven kevlar to resist abbrasion and impacts.  The guards are then polished to a gloss finish.
 
The guards have been designed to fit snugly onto the tank and will require a small amount of silicone adhesive to hold in place.  The guards will come with full fitting instructions.
